The weekender

Small on purpose

Beat Bunker is an underground house music and camping weekender on a farm in Bodiam, East Sussex. It's for people who still love the dancefloor but value space, connection, and music that means something.

We keep it small on purpose. No big stages or VIP areas. Just good people, good tunes, and one shared field.

You might hear a headliner, but it's often the lesser-known names or the ones who've been quietly doing it for years that leave just as big a mark.

The weekend unfolds at its own pace. So can you.

How it all unfolds

Pitch up wherever

Pick your patch and make it home. Set up near the action or claim your own little corner of the universe. Late-night chats, morning brews, space to breathe. It's yours for the weekend.

Bring your own booze

Which usually means any thought of taking it easy on Friday goes out the window pretty quick. Don't worry, there's a bar too if you run out and need backup.

You'll get drawn in at some point. One minute it's small talk, the next you're knee-deep in someone's 7-inch collection or halfway to solving the meaning of existence with Kev, obviously.

Refuel, properly

If you find yourself worn out, danced out, or just in need of something real, Marta's got you. Hot food, strong coffee, and a knowing smile from someone who's been there.

Spruce up and go again

You might wake up a little foggy or still running on last night's energy. Either way, there's clean loos, hot showers, and usually only a short wait before you're rinsed, reset, and ready for round two. Funny what a little sprinkle of water can do.

Dress up to get down

Saturday's got a loose theme. Previous ones have been Chic or Unique, Neon Jungle, and now Shine On. It's always optional, but we've definitely seen people loosen up a bit more when they do.

History

Over a decade in the field

We started in a field back in 2014. Over a decade later, it still has that small, friendly feel. The production's tighter, the sound's better, and we've learned a lot along the way. Take a look back at where it all began, and some of the weekends that got us here.
