Frequently asked questions

What time can I arrive?

This year, we are allowing campers to arrive from midday on Thursday so that they can get pitched-up and settled-in ready for the music to start at midday on Friday. Otherwise, if you're arriving on Friday then the gates open at 10am.

Do I need to bring ID?

This is an over-25s event, so if you’re lucky enough to look under 25 then you may be asked for photo ID to confirm your age.

Will I be able to buy merch?

Yes, but stock will be limited, so we recommend pre-ordering to guarantee your item, colour and size preferences.

What should I wear?

Anything goes! But remember, it’s an outdoor event. Comfortable shoes like trainers or boots are ideal, and bring layers. Daytime might be warm, but it can get chilly at night. A waterproof jacket is also a good idea, just in case. The Saturday night theme this year is TBC. Once announced, feel free to interpret it how you want and dress to suit.

Is the site secure?

The site is private and gated, with crew and stewards on shift during waking hours.

Can I bring my children or dogs?

No. This is a 25+ event. Children and dogs aren’t permitted on site.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes. Just email info@beatbunker.co.uk with the new details so we can update the guest list.

Can I pay on the door?

No. All tickets must be booked in advance. There are no on-the-day sales.

Can I get a refund or sell my ticket?

Tickets are non-refundable. If you’re passing your ticket to someone else, email info@beatbunker.co.uk with their full name, email address and mobile number.

Do you sell day tickets?

Yes, Saturday tickets are available for entry from 10am, and include a night’s camping.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No. Just show the QR code on your phone when you arrive.

What’s the latest I can arrive?

The main gate closes at 9pm each night. Arrive before then.

Can I park on site?

Yes, you can drive up to your tent to unload and then move your car to the nearby dedicated parking area.

Can I park at my pitch?

Not directly. You can drive close to unload (weather permitting), then move your car to the parking area.

Where is the event being held?

Beat Bunker will be held near Bodiam, East Sussex. The exact address and directions will be provided to all ticket holders.

When does the site open and close?

Gates open Friday at 10am and close Sunday at 4pm. Full timings will be sent out closer to the event.

Where is the nearest train station?

Robertsbridge. It’s about 10 minutes away by taxi. Booking a taxi in advance is a good idea.

When do I need to be off site by?

Everyone needs to be off site by 4pm on Sunday.

Can I leave and re-enter the site?

Yes. You can come and go within gate open times, but re-entry checks will be in place each time.

Will there be medical help on site?

Yes. Trained first aid crew will be on site all weekend. Ask a steward if you need help.

Are there showers and toilets on site?

Yes. There’s a toilet block and additional portaloos. Hot showers are available too.

Is there WiFi or phone signal on site?

No WiFi. Signal varies but is usually decent.

Is there a cash machine onsite?

No, but our bar, food and merch vendors can all accept card payments.

How do I pay for things at the festival?

Food, drinks, and merch all accept cash or card.

Is there water on site?

Yes. Free drinking water points are located across the site.

Is there a shop onsite?

No. Bring what you need. There’s no general store or supplies tent.

Will I be able to buy food?

Yes. One food van will be serving hot meals, drinks, and breakfasts throughout the weekend.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

You can bring your own food and drink to your pitch. If you want a nice cold one, the bar is there too.

Can I buy a reusable cup?

Yes. Beat Bunker cups are £2 and available at the bar. Reuse it each time you get a drink.

Can I have a barbecue or campfire?

Barbecues are fine if they’re raised off the ground. No open fires or fire pits.

Where can I camp?

There are designated camping areas clearly marked when you arrive. Pitch wherever there’s space.

What are the accommodation options?

You can pitch your own tent, bring a campervan or caravan, or book a bell tent.

Can I stay offsite?

Yes. But you’ll still need a full weekend ticket to access the event site.

Can I bring a gazebo or event shelter?

Yes, as long as it’s a sensible size and doesn’t block anyone.

Are there electric hookups?

No. There are no electric hookups on site, but there’ll be a few charging points for phones and power banks.

Can I stay over Sunday night?

Possibly. It depends on weather and conditions. Ask the team on Sunday if needed.

Can I bring a campervan or caravan?

Yes. Just note there are no electric hookups or toilet waste disposal facilities, so come self-contained.

Is there glamping?

Yes. A limited number of bell tents are available to book. They include bedding, mattresses, and lighting. See the glamping options.

Is there a curfew?

Yes. Music stops at 11pm, with earlier daytime programming. No amplified music is permitted between 11pm and midday.

What time does the music start and finish?

Music starts at 12:00 on Friday and finishes at 23:00 each night. No amplified music is permitted outside of these hours.
